Home Inspections
What you can expect during your home inspection:
Jason will meet with you at the home and complete a thorough performance based visual inspection which will take approximately 3 hours. This includes examination of the outside and inside of the house, observation, and operation where appropriate, of all the major building systems and structural components. The result is an objective evaluation of the condition of the home.
- Structural Systems
- Exterior Systems
- Roof Systems
- Electrical Systems
- Heating Systems
- Interior Systems
- Plumbing Systems
- Air Conditioning Systems
- Ventilation Systems
- Insulation and Vapour Barrier
While on site, Jason will discuss his findings with you, giving you an idea of what to expect in your written report. A comprehensive written report will then be prepared which will summarize all findings and identify potential concerns as well as provide you with helpful maintenance guides. The report can be provided in a binder or electronic format.
I have known Jason Graydon for approximately 12 years, first as a client of mine and then as a home inspector for my buyers and some sellers. Jason has experience with several different building types. His knowledge of new home construction, older two storey Victorian style, bungalows and slab on grade homes comes from his own first hand experience, combined with accredited courses that are required for today’s Home Inspectors.
I appreciate Jason’s ability to examine a home for his client and help spot deficiencies as well as efficiencies in his detailed inspection report. Many of my clients have been very impressed with Jason’s professionalism and his knowledge of homes and how he has taken the time to explain all the issues with them in such clear terms.
